Cadets of the Faculty of Pre-Trial Investigation Training of the National Police of Ukraine at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in a binary class, held with strict adherence to security requirements.
The event was organized by Associate Professor Yuliia ZAVGORODNIA, Lieutenant Colonel of Police, from the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional Law, and Human Rights, as part of the “International Law” course. The guest lecturer was Major Olena MAMUKA, Senior Inquirer of the Inquiry Sector of Police Department No. 2 of the Pokrovsk District Police Administration in Donetsk Oblast.
During the session, cadets learned about the practical aspects of pre-trial investigation in wartime conditions, with a focus on protecting the rights of detainees, adhering to international legal norms, and the specific challenges of police work in complex operational environments.
The cadets actively engaged in discussions, asked questions, and received comprehensive answers from the guest expert. This interactive learning format helped reinforce theoretical knowledge through real-life case studies, deepened their understanding of inquiry procedures, and motivated them for further professional development.
