The elective course was held for the teaching staff of the Primary Professional Training Center “Police Academy” at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
During the session, instructors were introduced to various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), their structure, components, and capabilities. Particular attention was given to the types and areas of UAV application in the Security and Defense Sector, as well as their use by National Police units in de-occupied territories and operational tasks.
The primary goal of the elective was to enhance the professional expertise of instructors in teaching UAV usage in police work. Those with prior experience in UAV operations actively engaged in discussions, sharing their insights and participating in interactive sessions. The course also covered teaching methodologies, simulation-based training, and practical flight exercises.
Mastering UAV operation is a crucial skill for modern police officers, enabling them to efficiently perform their duties and respond swiftly to security challenges amid martial law conditions.
