An event dedicated to the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred was organized for students of the Institute of Preventive Police Training of the National Police of Ukraine and the Institute of Law and Innovative Education at DSUIA.
The meeting was held in a hybrid format. The event was opened by Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process at DSUIA, Police Senior Lieutenant Karina PISOTSKA. She reminded the attendees that on February 20, Ukraine commemorates the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, honoring citizens who sacrificed their lives to defend democratic values, human rights, and Ukraine’s European choice.
Joining the event online were Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines at the Institute of Law and Innovative Education, Roman KARPENKO, as well as students participating in the legal clinic Istyna.
Among the invited guests, Senior Lieutenant of Police Yelyzaveta VILKHOVA, Inspector of the Organizational and Analytical Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, emphasized the importance of preserving the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and supporting those who continue to defend Ukraine today.
During the meeting, students presented reports highlighting the heroic deeds of the fallen. The event concluded with a moment of silence in their honor.
