Model court hearings continue at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. The training sessions for cadets are organized by the Department of Criminal Procedure as part of the study of the discipline “Measures to Ensure Criminal Proceedings.”
At the university’s “Courtroom” training ground, cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine conducted a hearing on the application of temporary restrictions on the use of a special right and suspension from office. Participants in the model trial included Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Police Major Viktoriia ROGALSKA, and Judge of the Novomoskovsk City District Court of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, Denys IHNATIEV.
As a result of the session, future investigators received professional, thorough, and constructive feedback on the correctness of procedural document preparation, as well as the application of the norms of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine by all participants in the model court hearing. According to the organizers, this experience helps cadets gain a better understanding of the procedural aspects of the judicial process and develop professional skills essential for law enforcement officers in real court practice.
