The guests shared their combat experience, spoke about the defense of Mariupol, and discussed their service in the 12th Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, “Azov.”
Students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev had a unique opportunity to communicate with servicemen of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, “Azov.”
The lyceum was visited by Lieutenant Vladyslav DUTCHAK (“Docent”), a representative of the Horunzhyi Service; Junior Sergeant Ihor NOVYTSKYI (“Nova”), the head of the recruitment center; and Junior Sergeant Zakhar ZORIN (“Veles”), a recruiter at the recruitment center.
Vladyslav DUTCHAK is a significant figure in the history of the “Azov” Brigade. He is an educator, historian, and philosopher, and now a serviceman who has endured captivity and returned to duty. “Docent” shared memories of the heroic defense of Mariupol and recounted many fascinating stories from military life.
Ihor NOVYTSKYI (“Nova”) and Zakhar ZORIN (“Veles”) introduced students to the structure of the brigade, providing insights into its units, specializations, and the tasks performed by its soldiers.
The lyceum students actively engaged with the guests, asking questions about their combat experiences, the events surrounding Mariupol, and the specifics of service in “Azov.”
The meeting was not only an important history lesson but also a source of inspiration for the lyceum students.
