A training quest was conducted for cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs as part of the “Operational and Investigative Activities” discipline.

The event was organized with the participation of Police Lieutenant Yevhenii MARSHAL, an operative officer of the Criminal Police Department of the Synelnykove District Police Division of the National Police Main Directorate in Dnipropetrovsk Region, and Police Lieutenant Andrii LOZOVYI, an operative officer of the Criminal Police Sector of Police Division No. 1 of the Pokrovsk District Police Department of the National Police Main Directorate in Donetsk Region.

During the quest, cadets tackled practical tasks related to detecting and gathering information on a criminal group engaged in extorting money from citizens. They familiarized themselves with the procedure for processing crime reports and practiced suspect apprehension and transportation to a police unit.

At the university’s training ground “Countering Organized Crime and Corruption,” cadets honed techniques for conducting surface checks of suspects, drafting procedural documents, and seizing physical evidence and prohibited items.

The quest proved to be an effective learning tool, allowing cadets to deepen their knowledge and refine the skills essential for their future professional activities.
