The series was conducted for short-term advanced training participants, including inquiry officers and investigators of the National Police authorized to investigate criminal offenses involving children.
The event speakers included representatives from the Office of the Prosecutor General (Oksana DEKHTIARUK), the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine (Liudmyla TSERKUNYK), the Dnipropetrovsk District Court of Dnipropetrovsk Region (Iryna SHAPOVALOVA), the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office (Vitalii NIKOLAICHUK), the Specialized Defense Prosecutor’s Office of the Eastern Region (Oleksandr KUKHARUK), the Frankivsk District Prosecutor’s Office of Lviv (Yuliia SERIOHINOVA), the South-Eastern Interregional Center for Free Legal Aid (Serhii SOKOLOV), and the legal profession (Oksana BRONEVYTSKA).

These included the integration of international child-friendly justice standards, the involvement of psychologists in criminal proceedings concerning minors through regional/interregional free legal aid centers, the establishment of child protection centers (following the Barnahus model), and the implementation of the “Restorative Justice Program for Juvenile Suspects and Defendants in Criminal Offenses.”
Additionally, participants practiced conducting interrogations using the “Green Room” methodology and the “Procedural Interview” technique based on the NICHD model.
