Representatives of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs successfully completed their training in the “Winter School on Combating Human Trafficking.” The event was held as part of a joint project by the OSCE, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine.

The training was attended by cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine—Yehor HRECHYSHKIN, Mariia KHLIVNA, Hanna TEREKHOVA, and Tymur BUHAIENKO—under the guidance of university lecturers: Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Major of Police Alina HARKUSHA, and Professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Training, Doctor of Law Ihor PYROH.

During the program, cadets studied modern investigation techniques for human trafficking crimes, including international expertise shared by OSCE experts. The training consisted of both theoretical sessions and practical exercises, where participants worked in teams to simulate real investigative (search) actions.

According to the organizers, such training is a crucial step in the development of future law enforcement officers, as modern challenges related to human trafficking demand a high level of professionalism and rapid response.

Upon completion of the course, participants received official certificates.
