In their free time, cadets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs dedicate significant attention to charitable initiatives.
Throughout February, cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine actively cooperated with the humanitarian headquarters “Sokil.” Together with volunteers and caring citizens, they wove camouflage nets—an essential item for soldiers at the front lines. Three nets measuring 6×3 meters and two nets measuring 7×4 meters, crafted by the cadets, will soon be sent to the front. Additionally, they have already prepared three more netting bases.
Meanwhile, cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine assisted the “Volunteer Knot” organization. In addition to camouflage nets, the future law enforcement officers sewed a new batch of pillows and thermal mattresses—items in high demand both on the front lines and in military hospitals.
The cadets also continue to support animal shelters: they walk and feed stray dogs, clean cages, and assist in finding new owners. According to the cadets, volunteering and financial support for animal protection organizations, as well as participation in adoption programs, help engage other young people through personal example.
