At DSUIA, adaptive training sessions for military veterans, which began a year ago, are ongoing. The sessions take place in the university’s sports hall under the guidance of experienced trainers who tailor programs to meet the individual needs of participants.
In the gym, veterans work on different muscle groups using various exercise machines and sports equipment. Trainers from the Department of Special Physical Training closely monitor the athletes’ well-being and adjust the workload accordingly.
These training sessions offer significant benefits: they aid physical rehabilitation, help restore health, and boost self-confidence. Additionally, they provide a platform for social interaction, enabling veterans to establish connections and facilitate their adaptation to civilian life.
The event took place as part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Department of Education, Science, and Sports project “Friendly Support.”
