The Department of Administrative Law and Procedure at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs organized a binary lesson as part of the course “Proceedings on Citizens’ Appeals in the Activities of Preventive Units.”
First-year students had the opportunity to meet with Volodymyr ONYSHCHENKO, a veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Currently, he serves as a Category 1 Inspector of the 102 Service Department within the Organizational and Analytical Support and Operational Response Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, continuing to apply his extensive practical experience.
Volodymyr ONYSHCHENKO provided a detailed explanation of how the 102 emergency service operates, focusing on the responsibilities of operators and the call processing algorithms. Special attention was given to calls from children, as operators must first determine whether a call is a prank or if the child genuinely requires assistance.
A 102 service operator must be polite, attentive, and act promptly, while also possessing high psychological resilience and emotional stability.
