The “Mental Trek” exhibition provides an opportunity to delve into issues of mental health, ways to maintain personal well-being, methods of self-help and assisting others in psychologically traumatic situations, as well as to develop critical thinking skills.
The exhibition was organized at the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev. Its goal is to increase students’ awareness of mental health and promote preventive measures against psychological problems.
The event was held with the support of facilitators—psychologists and educators from several educational institutions in the Dnipropetrovsk region, who underwent specialized training.
The exhibition takes place in a game-based and interactive format, helping to spread information about the connection between mental and physical health and preventing key factors that negatively affect students’ psycho-emotional state, including harmful habits such as alcohol consumption, drug use, and smoking.
During the event, participants also identified signs of bullying, its manifestations, and learned mechanisms to counteract this phenomenon.
According to experts, holding “Mental Trek” helps young people develop skills for making balanced and independent decisions.
The event became an opportunity not only to deepen the understanding of the importance of psychological health but also to master tools for its preservation, which is especially relevant in today’s conditions.
