“Safe City”: A Series of Classes for DSUIA Cadets Continues

The event was attended by students of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine.

Practical professionals joined the classes. Senior Inspector of the Analytical Work Department of the Criminal Analysis Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipro Oblast, Senior Lieutenant Yana Lazareva, and Inspector of the Patrol Police Department in Dnipro Oblast of the Patrol Police Department, Senior Lieutenant Mykhailo Vovchuk, shared their professional experience with the students.

The classes were organized to familiarize cadets with the operating principles of the “Safe City” system and the capabilities of its interface for maintaining public order, preventing criminal offenses, and responding to emergencies.

During the sessions, cadets develop practical skills in working with information and analytical platforms used in law enforcement activities. They also learn about information processing algorithms, analytical tools, and the specifics of interaction between the National Police of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies.

Upon completion of the elective classes, the students will gain basic knowledge about the functioning of the “Safe City” system and its role in ensuring public order and citizen safety.
