NEWS

An elective class was organized for cadets of the Research and Training Institute for Specialists of Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine by the Department of Tactical and Special Training at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).

The session was attended by participants of long-term professional development courses for patrol police officers, representing Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, and Donetsk oblasts.

During the class, simulators of the two-way fire system from Skiftech were utilized. The trainees practiced small tactical group movements across open and rough terrain, tactical actions of a unit in offensive and defensive scenarios, as well as skills for entering premises, navigating corridors, and moving between floors via staircases. Emphasis was placed on the tactics of apprehending an armed offender. The session also focused on role distribution within a tactical group, operation planning, and adherence to personal safety measures.

Additionally, a duel was organized between the cadets and patrol officers, allowing participants to practically apply the knowledge they had previously acquired.
