A delegation from the international charitable organization Global Christian Support (GCS) visited Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). The delegation included Dr. Gary Andrews, an international expert, and Alex Gerasimov, a chaplain and head of the organization.
The guests met with DSUIA Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, to discuss prospects for cooperation and the possibility of conducting training sessions for the university’s cadets and students. The event was also attended by motivational speaker and Vietnam War veteran Dr. Larry Anderson, Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court and Candidate of Legal Sciences Andrii Kornev, and others.
During the visit, the parties explored areas of collaboration in chaplaincy and educational outreach, the development of joint projects, and the exchange of experiences regarding work with law enforcement personnel.
The chaplains also toured the material and technical facilities of the university and its lyceum, highly praising the conditions provided for training future law enforcement officers.
Global Christian Support has been actively operating in Ukraine for over nine years, focusing its initiatives on military and law enforcement chaplaincy. The organization supports law enforcement agencies by promoting stress resilience, psychological support, and the prevention of professional burnout among personnel.
The DSUIA leadership expressed gratitude to the GCS representatives for their initiative and willingness to collaborate, noting that this partnership will contribute to the professional and personal development of cadets and students.
