Knowledge Enhancement: Graduation of Students from the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning at DSUIA

A graduation ceremony for 18 students of the Department of Advanced Training and Specialization at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning took place at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). Certificates were presented to the graduates by the university’s Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovalov.

The students underwent a specialization program for criminal investigation unit personnel and represented the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The training course lasted one month. During the program, the police officers mastered topics such as “Operational and Investigative Tactics,” “Features of Conducting Operational and Technical Measures,” “Organization of Covert Investigative (Search) Actions,” and more.

DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovalov, met with the graduates, thanked them for their diligent studies, and emphasized that the key traits of a criminal investigation officer include professional competence, self-confidence, readiness to act in unusual situations, resilience, and self-control. He noted that an operative’s professional competence directly impacts the success of their operational and investigative duties, as well as their self-fulfillment in their career. All graduates received their respective certificates.
