Weekly table tennis training sessions for military veterans are held at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. This is not only an opportunity to maintain physical activity but also an effective way of rehabilitation and social adaptation.
Playing table tennis helps veterans develop coordination, reaction speed, and motor skills while also improving concentration. In addition to its physical benefits, such training promotes emotional relief, reduces stress, and fosters a friendly atmosphere for communication.
The training program has been running for over a year. During this time, a stable team of players has formed, demonstrating a high level of skill. At the same time, new participants continuously join the sessions and eagerly attend the sports hall every week.
Representatives of the Veterans’ Council of the Solone Territorial Community of the Dnipropetrovsk region also took part in the training.
#DSUIA will continue to support initiatives aimed at the physical and psychological well-being of Ukraine’s defenders.
The event was held as part of the project “Friendly Support” by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
