NEWS

A binary class on “Organization of Escorting Detainees and Persons in Custody in Vehicles and on Foot” was organized by the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) in collaboration with the Convoy Service Division of the Preventive Activities Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The event involved second-year cadets from the Institute of Training Specialists for Preventive Activities Units of the National Police of Ukraine at DSUIA.

To develop practical skills, a convoy group was formed among the cadets, consisting of a convoy leader and escorts. During the briefing, the participants demonstrated their knowledge of the legal grounds for escorting detainees and persons in custody.

Throughout the session, the cadets practiced organizing escorts in courts and during investigative actions, including those involving women. The training took place at the educational facility “Courtroom Polygon.”

Practical specialists analyzed typical mistakes made by the cadets, answered questions about the operations of convoy service units, and provided recommendations for improving professional skills.
