Lecture sessions aimed at ensuring high-quality organization of short-term professional development for police officers of the Main Directorate of the National Police (MDNP) in Zaporizhzhia Region, conducted at their duty stations before their appointment to managerial positions, were organized by the Department of Advanced Training and Specialization.
To deliver these lectures within the framework of short-term professional development courses via video conference for police officers of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia Region, the following academic and teaching staff of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) were involved: Yuliia Zavhorodnia, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional Law and Human Rights, and Police Lieutenant Colonel, and Roman Myroniuk, Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure.
The event was opened by Oleksii Mamchii, Deputy Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning, and Police Colonel.
During the session, current issues of management in police bodies were discussed, including prospects and solutions. The topic of developing gender competence in accordance with UN and NATO standards was also addressed.
The training was conducted as part of cooperation with practical units of the National Police of Ukraine to ensure the high-quality organization of short-term professional development for police officers at their duty stations.
Such sessions are systematic and play a crucial role in enhancing the professional activities of police personnel.
