NEWS

A meeting with Dnipro poets dedicated to World Poetry Day took place at the Dnipro House of Arts. Cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine at DSUIA participated in the event.

The audience had the opportunity to hear poetry performed by Anatolii Popovskyi, Professor of the Department of Language Training at DSUIA; Andrii Karpenko, poet, member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, and Lieutenant Colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine; Kostiantyn Dub, Candidate of Philological Sciences, poet, and literary scholar; Valentyna Babenko, Associate Professor at PDAFA, poet, and wife of a soldier; and Olena Besarab, Associate Professor at Oles Honchar DNU, poet, and songwriter.

The cadets listened to numerous poetic works covering a wide range of themes—from personal experiences to reflections on war and the resilience of the human spirit. A particularly moving moment was the performance by military personnel who, despite the challenges of war, continue to create poetry. Their stories and verses served as a powerful testament to resilience and faith in a better future, deeply touching everyone present.

The event provided cadets with new impressions and an opportunity to see literature as a means of expressing thoughts and emotions. Such meetings help broaden worldviews, develop creative potential, and inspire new achievements.
