Advanced Training for Patrol Police Officers at DSUIA

Twenty-eight trainees from the Department of Advanced Training and Specialization at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) successfully completed a long-term professional development program and received certificates.

The trainees represented the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Poltava, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Over the course of 12 days, the police officers studied the specifics of patrolling, checkpoint duties, basics of explosives handling, and pre-medical aid. They also mastered firearms, tactical, and psychological training, with particular emphasis on ensuring public safety and order under martial law conditions.

At the end of the program, the police officers passed a comprehensive final exam, consisting of both theoretical and practical components.

Ihor Mahdalina, First Vice-Rector of DSUIA, met with the graduates of the advanced training program. He congratulated them on successfully completing the course, highlighted the importance of the knowledge and skills they acquired for maintaining safety and order during martial law, and wished them success in applying their newfound experience in their professional duties.
