DSUIA Cadets Donated Blood Plasma

NEWS

The cadets took part in their now-traditional donation procedure at the local donor center “Biopharma Plasma Dnipro.”

Blood and its components are critical resources for saving lives, especially in the context of a full-scale invasion. The number of wounded—both soldiers and civilians—as well as individuals in urgent need of transfusions and blood-derived medications, continues to grow daily.

Understanding this need, cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs regularly donate blood plasma. Before each donation, they undergo a medical examination and receive clear instructions from doctors to ensure that the procedure meets all medical standards and requirements.

In addition, to mark World Down Syndrome Awareness Day, the cadets participated in the annual flash mob “Sock It Up.” The initiative aims to raise awareness about the syndrome, show support for those living with it, and emphasize the importance of building an inclusive society.

The event was held as part of the “Friendly Support” project by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
