At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), qualifying competitions for participation in the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) piloting championship are ongoing.
The competitions involve students of DSUIA and pupils from the Dnipro Security-Oriented Lyceum and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The second stage of the competition required participants to complete tasks in the format of UAV flights through complex structures. Competitors showcased a high level of skill, particularly in maneuvering, speed, and precision, as they navigated obstacles and performed specialized tasks.
The event was organized by the Department of Operational and Investigative Work of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine at DSUIA, with support from the university’s leadership.
This stage aimed to develop skills in using innovative technologies, enhance educational programs, and improve the practical training of future specialists. It also provided participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in operating unmanned aerial vehicles.
Following the qualifying rounds, students and cadets of DSUIA, as well as pupils from the Dnipro Security-Oriented Lyceum and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev, will compete in the UAV piloting championship.
