Servicemen of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade “Kholodny Yar” met with cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. The event was attended by Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovaliov.
Thanks to the use of unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, Ukrainian defenders perform a wide range of tasks, giving them an advantage over the enemy. The soldiers use drones for reconnaissance, enemy surveillance, and striking enemy personnel and equipment. In addition, they are used to deliver water and supplies to frontline positions and evacuate the wounded.
During the meeting, the military shared insights into their work, focusing on different types of drones and their applications. Attendees had the opportunity to witness demonstration flights of UAVs and the operation of a ground-based unmanned vehicle.
The cadets not only observed but also had hands-on experience with the technology in action: they simulated the evacuation of a wounded soldier and tried operating the device themselves.
Such meetings allow future law enforcement officers to gain valuable knowledge from military personnel, better understand the specifics of modern warfare, and enhance their professional training.
