The Department of Tactical and Special Training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, in collaboration with the artillery unit of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “AZOV,” organized a binary training session.
During the session, military experts covered the theoretical foundations of UAV deployment, provided explanations about different types and classifications of drones, and discussed their applications. Special attention was given to threats faced by UAV operators and methods of protection against electronic warfare systems.
Cadets learned how to analyze data obtained via drones and use it for making operational decisions. Additionally, they explored drone construction and operational principles.
Such sessions help future law enforcement officers gain a deeper understanding of the role of UAVs in policing activities. Cadets received valuable hands-on experience working with drones, which may prove useful in their future careers.
