International Scientific and Practical Conference at DSUIA: “The Rule of Law: Doctrine and Practice Amid Contemporary Global Challenges”

The event will take place in a hybrid format (in-person and online) on May 23, 2025, at 10:00.

The purpose of the conference is to examine and comprehensively analyze the essence and key components of the rule of law concept, while consolidating the experience and potential of scholars, practitioners, representatives of state and local government bodies, civil society organizations, and higher education students. Participants will jointly address contemporary political and economic issues, current challenges of international standards, problems of legal regulation, and analyze communicative factors in political activities.

The conference invites scholars, practitioners, representatives of state and local government bodies, civil society organizations, and higher education students to participate.

Thematic Areas of the Conference:

● The rule of law as the foundation of the European values system and legal order;

● nternational and domestic mechanisms for ensuring the rule of law amid contemporary challenges and threats;

● Current issues in implementing international human rights protection standards;

● Upholding the rule of law in the activities of law enforcement and judicial bodies under martial law;

● Challenges of legal regulation of civil-law relations under martial law;

● Philosophical and cultural-historical aspects of establishing the rule of law principle;

● Modern determinants of international relations and global politics;

● Public administration of social and humanitarian development in current conditions;

● The rule of law, economics, and psychology: exploring interconnections;

● Psychological well-being of individuals in the context of pressing societal issues.
