Investigators and inquiry officers authorized to investigate criminal offenses involving children underwent training at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).
The participants represented the Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions.
DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovalov, emphasized the importance of professional training for police officers, which defines their level of expertise. He highlighted that investigators and inquiry officers play a crucial role in establishing the truth in every case, particularly when it involves crimes related to children.
The professional development program was successfully completed by 26 participants, who studied key issues of criminal procedure legislation, regulatory acts in the field of combating domestic violence, and current aspects of preventing and countering offenses committed against children.
Upon passing a comprehensive final exam, all participants received their respective certificates.
