DSUIA Launches Specialization Program for Educational Security Service Police Officers

The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) has launched a specialization program for police officers of the Educational Security Service. Before the start of the training, an introductory briefing was held for participants.

The event was attended by:

✔ Igor Kovalov, DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel

✔ Anatolii Kolotik, Director of the Institute of Postgraduate and Distance Learning, Police Lieutenant Colonel

✔ Denys Shulha, Head of the Educational Security Service Sector of the Patrol Police Department in Dnipro, Police Senior Lieutenant

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of mastering key topics outlined in the specialization program, including:

✔ Fundamentals of administrative and criminal procedural law

✔ Prevention and response to domestic violence

✔ Age-related characteristics of children and psychological aspects of working with them

✔ Coordination with agencies responsible for child protection

Additionally, participants were reminded about the importance of quick response to “Air Raid Alert” signals.

The specialization program at DSUIA will be attended by 24 police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Vinnytsia, and Mykolaiv regions.
