Experience of Escort Service Officers for Cadets: A Binary Lesson at DSUIA

The event was organized by the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure at DSUIA in collaboration with the Escort Service Department of the Preventive Activity Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

Cadets from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Training for Preventive Activity Units of the National Police of Ukraine at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in a session titled “Procedure for Searching Escorted Individuals.”

The session was conducted by senior lecturer Mykola Repan, together with:

– Police Colonel Andrii Alekseienko, Senior Inspector of the Escort Service Department.

– Police Major Oleksandra Yampolska, Senior Inspector of the Escort Service Department.

– Police Captain Yevhen Kutin, Commander of Escort Service Battalion No. 1.

– Police Major Viacheslav Berendieiev, Deputy Commander of Escort Service Battalion No. 1.

Escort service officers engaged cadets in discussions on the organization of escort units, assessing their knowledge through practical questions. The future law enforcement officers demonstrated a high level of preparedness by providing well-reasoned answers.

Special attention was given to the key aspects of searching escorted individuals. Officers shared their professional experience, covering situation control, security measures, and proper documentation of confiscated items. To enhance the learning process, realistic role-playing exercises were conducted, bringing the training as close as possible to real-life police work.

These practical sessions help cadets acquire essential skills that they will effectively apply in their future service.
