The event was organized by the Student-Cadet Council of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs as part of the celebration of the Constitution Day of Pylyp Orlyk.
First-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Units, and the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists in Preventive Activities took part in the quiz.
The event consisted of several rounds, each featuring questions of varying difficulty. Participants were required to demonstrate knowledge of the historical context of the document, its main provisions, as well as political and legal concepts.
To encourage close interaction, collaborative discussions, and teamwork, the quiz was conducted in the format of a team-based game. According to the organizers, such educational-intellectual competitions contribute to better learning outcomes, enhance analytical and critical thinking, and improve communication skills among cadets.
“This was not only an engaging and exciting activity for cadets, but also an important step toward deepening their knowledge of the first Constitution—an important milestone in the development of a rule-of-law state in Ukraine. After all, the Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk is a remarkable historical monument of both Ukrainian and European thought, and one of the earliest steps in the formation of modern Ukrainian statehood,” stated the Student-Cadet Council of DSUIA.
