A thrilling eSports tournament in the online game “CS2” has come to an end in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The competition was organized by the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, and its participants included cadets, high school students from specialized lyceums, and representatives of secondary educational institutions.
A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament, with only two advancing to the final — the teams from DSUIA and the Bohuslav Lyceum. The battle was intense: participants demonstrated a high level of skill, played nearly even throughout the match, and gave their opponents no room for error. The tension escalated with each round, but the cadets showed resilience, tactical ingenuity, and strong teamwork, which allowed them to secure victory in the match and claim the championship title. The Bohuslav Lyceum team took second place, and third place went to the team from Lyceum No. 97.
A unique feature of the tournament’s broadcast was the involvement of the cadets themselves as commentators. Mykyta Lysenko and Iveta Haivaniuk were chosen as the official voices of the eSports tournament. They were entrusted with covering the most intense and spectacular matches — the third-place match and the grand final.
The cadets demonstrated not only a deep understanding of the game but also the ability to set the tone and maintain the energy of the broadcast. Their commentary was filled with enthusiasm, tactical insights, and humor, making the viewing experience even more engaging for the audience.
The awards ceremony was held at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, with the participation of DSUIA First Vice-Rector Ihor Magdalyna. The tournament winners received diplomas, distinctions, and commemorative gifts.
