Long-Term Advanced Training for Patrol Police Officers to Be Held at DSUIA

A briefing for the participants was conducted by the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovalov.

Long-term advanced training for patrol police officers has started at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

Law enforcement officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Poltava regions have joined the program. A total of 29 participants will study the specifics of patrolling, serving at checkpoints, the basics of explosive ordnance disposal, and pre-medical assistance. The program also includes firearms, tactical, and psychological training, with special attention given to ensuring public safety and order under martial law.

Before the start of the training, the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovalov, met with the patrol officers. He emphasized the importance of comprehensive police training and wished the participants fruitful learning. Particular attention was paid to compliance with safety requirements during training and mandatory response to air raid alerts.
