DSUIA Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, Held a Meeting with the EUAM Mobile Unit Delegation

During a working meeting, potential areas for further cooperation and the implementation of joint projects were discussed.

DSUIA Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, expressed gratitude to Johan Sitrius, Head of the Mobile Unit of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine, for supporting the university and participating in joint initiatives that contribute to training highly qualified specialists for Ukraine’s Security and Defense Sector Forces.

Mr. Sitrius noted that plans are in place to launch joint projects focused on tactical medicine, including tactical psychology, as well as enhancing the qualifications of Ukrainian law enforcement officers in investigating war crimes. To this end, EUAM representatives intend to conduct practical training sessions using case studies based on real investigations. Among the new areas of EUAM activity are the study of explosive ordnance, crisis communication, and mediation.

In turn, DSUIA Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, highlighted the promising prospects of joint initiatives in the rehabilitation and socialization of military veterans, as well as equipping Ukrainian law enforcement with the skills to provide initial psychological assistance to individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The meeting marked an important step in strengthening the partnership between DSUIA and EUAM, aimed at enhancing professional competencies and fostering international cooperation.
