A meeting with the finalists of the scientific research competition for applicants of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was organized by the Department for Scientific Activity Organization of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The first round of the competition took place at DSUIA from November 15 to December 26, 2024. Within this stage, 22 scientific papers were submitted, 14 of which were selected for participation in the second round.
Head of the Department for Scientific Activity Organization, Denys Proshyn, acquainted the attendees with the procedure for determining the winners of the MIA competition. He noted that the organizing committee compiles a general ranking list of scientific papers and selects those whose authors will be invited to participate in the final scientific-practical conference to present and defend their research.
Senior Researcher of the Department, Olena Shkurko, informed the finalists about the need to prepare presentations for their speeches and provided general recommendations regarding the structure and content of the reports. Special attention was given to the rules for visualizing information in presentations.
The participants were assigned to create presentations for the defense of their scientific research and to present them in a week for preliminary discussion and further improvement.
