Training for Police Officers: Short-Term Advanced Training at DSUIA

Before the start of the advanced training program, the Vice-Rector of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovalov, met with the law enforcement officers.

Twenty-six investigators and inquiry officers from Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions, who specialize in the investigation of criminal offenses involving children, will undergo training.

The program covers key problematic issues of criminal procedural legislation, regulatory acts in the field of combating domestic violence, as well as current aspects of the prevention and counteraction of crimes committed against children.

The Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovalov, emphasized that it is the investigators and inquiry officers who are responsible for establishing the truth in each case, especially when it comes to protecting children’s rights. He called on the participants to approach the training responsibly and drew attention to the importance of observing safety requirements during the sessions.
