Enhancing Expertise: Participants of the Short-Term Professional Development Program Received Certificates at DSUIA

NEWS

Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) hosted a training program for investigators and inquiry officers authorized to investigate criminal offenses involving children.

The program included 26 participants from the Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions.

The graduates were greeted by DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovalov, who emphasized the importance of professional training for police officers working with the most vulnerable population—children. He noted that the professionalism of law enforcement officers often determines the future well-being of citizens. Ihor Kovalov also invited the participants to pursue further education by obtaining specialized training at DSUIA. The attendees studied challenging aspects of criminal procedure legislation, explored regulatory acts related to combating domestic violence, and addressed current issues of preventing and countering offenses committed against children.

Following the successful completion of a comprehensive final exam, all participants received their certificates.
