Training on Using OSINT in Criminal Investigations Launched at DSUIA

The event was organized by the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine in collaboration with Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).

The training brought together cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies and the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, as well as university faculty members. The program includes both theoretical and practical components. In addition to participating in the training, DSUIA contributed experts in professional fields related to combating organized crime and conducting criminal investigations. The course was made possible through a signed memorandum of cooperation between the university and EUAM. The training is part of EUAM’s project “Operational Support in Priority Areas of Ukraine’s Civilian Security Sector Reform (2024–2027).”

The course will run for three days. Participants will explore OSINT-related topics, including analysis and intelligence, metadata processing, and key OSINT tools and platforms.
