Master Class by Paralympic Champion Davyd Khorava at DSUIA

Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) hosted a judo master class led by renowned Ukrainian Paralympian Davyd Khorava. The event was organized by the Department of Special Physical Training.

The master class was attended by DSUIA cadets and students, as well as students from the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Davyd Khorava is a Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class, champion of the 2012 London Paralympic Games, bronze medalist of the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympics, and winner of the 2024 Paris Paralympics. He was awarded the Order of Merit, First Class, for achieving outstanding sports results and enhancing Ukraine’s international reputation.

During the master class, the athlete shared his experience, judo techniques, and tactical approaches, and discussed the specifics of preparing for top-level competitions. The practical session included practicing techniques and analyzing scenarios encountered during matches. Participants praised the high quality of the master class and gained valuable knowledge that will contribute to their professional and athletic development.
