On the occasion of the annual holiday dedicated to environmental protection, students, cadets, and lyceum students supported a series of ecological initiatives.
Students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev joined efforts to improve the territory of a medical institution where Ukrainian soldiers are undergoing rehabilitation.
The lyceum students cleaned up litter and tidied green zones, contributing not only to the improvement of the area but also to the preservation of the city’s ecology. With their help, the students expressed respect, gratitude, and support for those who risk their lives every day for Ukraine’s independence.
Cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for the Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine conducted a cleanup at the Krasnopilske Cemetery in the city of Dnipro.
The future law enforcement officers honored the memory of fallen soldiers with a moment of silence and flower-laying, after which they cleaned up the burial sites, removing litter and fallen leaves around the memorial stele.
Students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education visited the “Zorianyi” Educational and Rehabilitation Center of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, which educates children with visual, hearing, and speech impairments. The students worked on greening the area by planting juniper seedlings
According to the students, the choice of juniper is symbolic: this decorative yet undemanding plant not only adds aesthetic beauty to the yard but also brings positive emotions to the center’s young visitors. Moreover, planting trees for Environment Day is a valuable initiative that promotes the enrichment of the city’s greenery, improves the ecological situation, and fosters environmental awareness among youth.
During the visit, the students also congratulated the center’s children on the joyful Easter holiday and presented them with sweet gifts.
