Easter Greetings from DSUIA Cadets

MIA Lyceum, NEWS

On the eve of Easter, cadets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs and students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev visited veterans and wounded defenders.

Accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel of Police Nataliia Karnaukh, Head of the Social and Humanitarian Work Department at DSUIA, the cadets and lyceum students visited a city medical facility where wounded soldiers are undergoing rehabilitation. The cadets spoke with the defenders, expressing deep gratitude and respect for their protection of Ukraine’s independence. As a gift, they brought traditional Easter bread — paskas — for the soldiers.

Cadets of the Faculty for Training Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine also visited the Dnipropetrovsk State Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise, where they personally extended Easter greetings to servicemen recovering from injuries.

Cadets from the faculties of training for criminal police and pre-trial investigation units of the National Police also visited members of the DSUIA veterans’ organization — former staff members and Chornobyl disaster liquidators. The cadets delivered festive food packages and Easter greetings on behalf of the University Rector, Colonel of Police Oleksandr Morhunov.

Cadets who are orphans or deprived of parental care received personal Easter greetings from DSUIA Vice-Rector, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Ihor Kovaliov, and the Rector’s Assistant, Volodymyr Kovbasa. They wished the students strong health and inner peace, and expressed hope for peace and victory.
