Twenty-nine trainees from the Department for Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning successfully completed their studies and received corresponding certificates.
The group included representatives of the Patrol Police units from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Poltava, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Over the course of 12 days of intensive training, they mastered the specifics of service at checkpoints, patrolling duties, the basics of explosive engineering, and the algorithms for providing pre-medical assistance. Considerable attention was given to firearms training, tactical and psychological preparedness, as well as ensuring public safety under martial law conditions.
Upon completion of the course, the law enforcement officers took a comprehensive final exam, which included both theoretical questions and practical tasks.
The graduates were greeted by DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovaliov. He emphasized the importance of continuous professional development, enhancing knowledge and skills—especially in today’s realities—and handed over the corresponding certificates.
The officers are now returning to duty with renewed knowledge, ready to ensure public safety and law and order in their regions even more effectively.
