Cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs visited the art museum and took part in an artistic performance.
Their visit to the Dnipro Art Museum began with the classical collection, which features works by prominent Ukrainian and international painters. Majestic portraits, picturesque landscapes, and deeply meaningful genre scenes sparked lively interest and prompted reflections on the eternal values depicted on the canvases.
The cadets were particularly captivated by the contemporary art exhibition. The unconventional forms, bold color choices, and unique approaches to creativity sparked discussions and the exchange of ideas. Museum staff provided detailed information about the artists’ life journeys and the symbolism hidden in their works during the tour.
The future law enforcement officers also participated in the performance “Space (Not) of Free Expression,” created by artist Anna Shevchenko. The event was dedicated to the theme of freedom of expression in modern society, its transformation, and fluidity. The dialogue between participants took place through the exchange of handwritten texts: the cadets saw this not only as a cultural but also as a social experiment for the youth.
The cultural activities of DSUIA cadets contribute to broadening their worldview and aesthetic taste, which is an important aspect of the holistic development of future law enforcement officers.
