Cyber Hygiene and Principles of Artificial Intelligence: Online Lecture at DSUIA

The online meeting with cadets was conducted by Senior Operative Officer for Especially Important Cases of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Senior Lieutenant Viktoriia Kovtun.

The event was attended by second-year cadets from the faculties training specialists for criminal police units and pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine. The lecture focused on safe use of internet resources and office equipment, emphasizing key principles of cyber hygiene.

Cadets learned about the importance of installing applications only from official sources, creating strong passwords, using two-factor authentication, and checking privacy and security settings of programs.

Additionally, Viktoriia Kovtun explained the principles of artificial intelligence, highlighting the specifics of machine and deep learning algorithms, the functioning of neural networks, and the processing of large data volumes.

Thanks to this meeting, cadets deepened their knowledge of cybersecurity and modern technologies, acquiring practical skills to effectively address digital challenges in law enforcement.
