Iryna Selivanova participated in the “TeacherTalk: Open Dialogue Space” training for English language teachers, organized at the initiative of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The event was designed to enhance the educational process in Ministry of Internal Affairs lyceums and strengthen practical English communication skills for both teachers and lyceum students. The training was facilitated by staff from the English Language Support Unit of the Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the training, teachers had the opportunity to exchange experiences, share unique methods of engaging with students, and receive individual consultations from department experts. The event was conducted entirely in English.
According to Iryna Selivanova, a teacher at the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev, the training was both valuable and inspiring. In particular, participants discussed the organization and operation of conversation clubs in educational institutions and shared ideas on creating conditions to help students overcome language barriers.
At the conclusion of the training, participants were awarded certificates.
