Ahead of the competition, the team met with the Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morgunov.
At the end of April 2025, the Sambo Wrestling Championship will take place among cadets from higher education institutions under the management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and the military higher education institutions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine.
The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs will be represented by seven athletes under the guidance of their coach, senior lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training, Police Major Volodymyr Rohalskyi.
During the meeting with the sambo athletes, DSUIA Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morgunov, emphasized that the university’s athletes consistently demonstrate a high level of skill and that the team has great potential. He wished the athletes continued success, inspiration, and perseverance.
