DSUIA Rector Meets with “Police Academy” Trainees

Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, met with trainees of the “Police Academy” who have begun their initial professional training.

The meeting was also attended by DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Kovalov, and Director of the Primary Professional Training Center “Police Academy,” Mykola Nazarenko.

A group of 26 individuals from Chernivtsi, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv regions, newly recruited to the National Police of Ukraine, arrived at DSUIA. During their training at the DSUIA “Police Academy” Primary Professional Training Center, the trainees will study firearms, tactical-special, and physical training, as well as learn the preparation of official documentation and other aspects of professional activities.

During the meeting, Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, emphasized the importance of a responsible approach to training and the role of law enforcement officers in ensuring public safety.

The event marked the first step in developing the professional skills of future police officers, who, upon completing their training, will be able to effectively perform their duties.
