Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) held a meeting of the Academic Council, chaired by Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov. The event was attended by the Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Colonel Oleksandr Hanzha.
The meeting addressed several pressing issues, including the university’s cooperation with structural and territorial units of the National Police of Ukraine, adherence to principles of academic integrity by staff and students, and other matters.
A Professor’s Certificate was awarded to Nataliia Obushenko, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines at the Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA.
A 3rd-degree diploma for participation in the second stage of the regional student English language Olympiad for 1st and 2nd-year students of non-philological specialties was presented to Illia Panchenko, a 2nd-year cadet of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.
The academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines was conferred upon Mykhailo Frolov, Candidate of Legal Sciences.
The establishment of several ad hoc specialized academic councils at the university was proposed to conduct public defenses of dissertations for the award of the Doctor of Philosophy degree.
Additionally, Professional Programs for short-term advanced training, professional development, and specialization of police officers were approved.
