Another Donation: DSUIA Cadets Donated Blood and Plasma

NEWS

Cadets actively participate in blood donation initiatives, demonstrating social responsibility and support for those in need.

At the Biopharma Plasma Dnipro donor center, cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs donated plasma — a critically important component used in the production of medical treatments. Plasma is essential for treating severely injured individuals, including servicemen, as well as patients with cancer, burns, or immune disorders. Its components help restore circulation, fight infections, and support the body’s vital functions.

In addition, the cadets donated blood at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Blood Transfusion Station, contributing to the replenishment of blood supplies. Each donor followed a special diet, underwent a medical examination, and, after being cleared for the procedure, donated approximately 400 ml of blood.

The significant contribution of DSUIA cadets to blood and plasma donation highlights their civic-mindedness and readiness to support society. Such initiatives not only save lives but also foster a sense of duty and solidarity among future law enforcement officers, strengthening public trust in the police.

The event was held as part of the “Friendly Support” project by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
