The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) actively operates the Junior Commanders’ School, which fosters professional and leadership qualities in future law enforcement officers.
The latest meeting of the Junior Commanders’ School was attended by DSUIA First Vice-Rector Ihor Mahdalina, who urged cadets to focus on high-quality training to professionally fulfill their duties.
One of the sessions was dedicated to the topic “Fundamentals of Organizing the Educational Process.” The discussion covered principles of effective training management in units, methods to motivate personnel for self-improvement, and the creation of a disciplined educational environment, which is crucial for preparing highly qualified police officers.
Additionally, emphasis was placed on pre-medical training. Cadets studied types and degrees of burns, as well as protocols for providing assistance in cases of injuries, wounds, and various types of bleeding. Such sessions prepare future law enforcement officers for real-world challenges, developing both professional and human qualities.
The goal of the school is to master the fundamentals of managing National Police units, develop leadership abilities, and cultivate the moral and professional qualities of a leader. This contributes to strengthening service discipline, internal order, improving the moral and psychological climate in cadet units, and enhancing the role of junior commanders in the educational process.
