MIA Lyceum

Dnipro and Ivano-Frankivsk lyceum students competed in a friendly Counter-Strike 2 match, showcasing their esports skills.

At the initiative of the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), a friendly esports event was held between students of the Dnipro Lyceum and the Ivano-Frankivsk Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Before the game, DSUIA First Vice-Rector Ihor Mahdalina met with the Dnipro Lyceum students, wishing them enthusiasm and competitive spirit.

Lyceum Director Kyrylo Nedria emphasized that esports holds special significance for security education, as the game fosters strategic thinking and teamwork. Such events lay the foundation for friendship between lyceum students and serve as a platform for sharing experiences, preparing youth for modern challenges through esports.

The spotlight was on Counter-Strike 2, one of the oldest esports disciplines, simulating confrontations between special forces and terrorists. The Dnipro Lyceum actively supports modern sports, particularly esports, which equips young people with skills for working with cutting-edge technologies.
